Privacy Policy (SMS Messaging)

Applies to: SMS/text communications sent by Paragon Systems Integration (“Paragon,” “we,” “us,” “our”) to clients and prospective clients in the United States.

What personal information we collect

When you opt in to receive SMS from Paragon, we collect:

  • Contact data: mobile phone number, name, company.
  • Message data: message content you send to us, our replies, delivery timestamps.
  • Consent records: date and time, source (web form, keyword, in person), opt in and opt out status, and confirmation details.
  • Service context (optional): appointment date and time, job or ticket ID, site location name, technician assignment.
  • Technical metadata: carrier information and limited device or network metadata provided by messaging platforms such as delivery status.

How we use personal information

We use this information to:

  • Send client service messages such as appointment reminders, scheduling updates, technician ETA, system alerts, service approvals, invoices or receipts, and support follow ups.
  • Confirm your enrollment and manage your opt in and opt out preferences.
  • Operate, secure, and improve our messaging program such as troubleshooting deliverability and preventing abuse or fraud.
  • Comply with law and carrier requirements and keep appropriate records of consent.

Who we share information with

We do not sell your personal information. We share limited information with:

  • Messaging and communications providers such as our SMS platform and carrier partners to deliver texts and process replies.
  • IT, security, and support vendors under contract who assist our operations.
  • Legal, regulatory, or safety authorities if required by law or to protect rights and safety.

Important: We do not sell or share your SMS opt in consent or mobile number with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or messaging. We disclose limited information to contracted service providers only to deliver and support our SMS program. They are not permitted to use it for any other purpose.

Your choices

  • Opt out at any time. Text STOP to the number that messaged you. You can also contact us using the methods below and we will process the request.
  • Get help. Text HELP to the number that messaged you.
  • Update your information. Contact us to correct or update your details.

Data retention

We retain SMS related data, including consent and opt out logs, for as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal or carrier obligations, and resolve disputes. When no longer needed, we delete or de identify it.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect SMS related personal information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

Children’s privacy

Our SMS program is intended for adults in connection with professional services. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 via SMS.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. We will post the updated version with a new “Last updated” date.
